Principal Developer 

Brio Digital is working with one of the largest consumer websites in the UK and is a tech4good company offering customers great value. 

Due to growth, they’re looking to hire a new Principal Engineer to work two days per week in central London.

The Principal Engineer role will lead and support product teams in articulating and bringing together peers to create world-class products. A typical team will be full of full-stack, front-end and backend developers. Working together with QA’s and UX/Product specialists. 

What will you be doing as a Principal Developer

• Principals align and define architecture across domains and across teams

• Making technical decisions and demonstrating better ways of doing things.

• Ensure products are efficient and scalable. 

• Coding and engineering working across a wide range of platforms & technologies. 

• The domain expert for tech, new platforms and techniques 

Principal Developer Tech Stack; 

• Serverless architectures and event-driven backends hosted in AWS

• Javascript, Typescript and other object-oriented programming languages (including Java & C# .Net).

• Jira  and GitLab
