Our client, a fast-growing tech4good consultancy, is seeking contract User Researchers to work on a critical national programme in the public sector. Rates vary per project but no lower than £500/day and inside IR35.
In this User Researcher contract role, you'll:
- Uncover the voice of users: Design and conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to understand the needs, challenges, and experiences of healthcare professionals and patients.
- Be the champion of human-centred design: Analyze research findings and translate them into actionable insights for our product and design teams.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure user voices are heard and addressed throughout development.
- Drive impact, fast: This is a fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly influence the product roadmap and impact real people's lives.
The Ideal User Researcher Candidate:
- Proven experience as a User Researcher, ideally within the health tech or public sector domain.
- A strong understanding of GDS principles and the public sector user research landscape.
- Expertly skilled in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
- A clear, concise communicator who can present research findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively within a team.
- BPSS clearance is required for this role.
