Job Title: Product Owner (with Business Analyst Experience)
Location: Hybrid (1x/month in Leeds)
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £500/day Inside IR35

We're seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong Business Analyst experience. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering user-centred digital products that improve services across the NHS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with strategic goals and user needs
- Define product vision and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams
- Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and users
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and process mapping
- Support agile ceremonies and ensure the team has clear goals and requirements
- Monitor product performance, iterate based on user feedback and data
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally in agile, cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience as a Business Analyst
- Demonstrable experience working within the NHS, central government, or wider public sector – essential
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels
- A user-focused mindset with a passion for creating accessible, inclusive services
- Familiarity with GDS standards and agile delivery in government settings is highly desirable
Desirable:
- Experience with service design and user research
- Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies (e.g. PSPO, SAFe, Scrum.org)
- Exposure to digital transformation projects in complex organisations
