Role: Business Analyst x2 (MUST have NHS Experience)

Contract: 3 months initially

Rate: £500 per day

Overview

We are supporting a national NHS service on a discovery project and are looking for two Business Analysts with strong NHS experience.

This is an early stage piece of work focused on understanding current state, stakeholder needs, service challenges and defining a clear roadmap into alpha. The successful candidates will be comfortable operating in complex, multi stakeholder NHS environments and experienced in delivering high quality discovery outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support discovery activities across clinical, operational and technical stakeholders
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops across national and regional teams
• Elicit, document and prioritise business requirements
• Map current state processes and identify pain points and opportunities
• Define future state service models and high level requirements
• Produce clear documentation including BRDs, user journeys, process maps and options appraisals
• Work closely with Product, Delivery and Technical teams to shape the next phase of delivery
• Support business case inputs where required

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the NHS
• Experience working on national or large scale NHS services
• Strong discovery phase experience within digital or transformation programmes
• Confident facilitating workshops with senior clinical and operational stakeholders
• Strong process mapping and requirements gathering capability
• Experience working in complex governance environments
• Comfortable working remotely and autonomously

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within NHS England or other national bodies
• Understanding of NHS data flows and interoperability
• Experience working within GDS aligned environments
• Previous experience on service redesign or transformation programmes
