Job Title: 5x Test Analyst – SQL, Power BI, Cerner Millennium

Location: Romford - Hybrid
Rate: £550/day Inside IR35
Duration: 3-4 weeks 

This is a short piece of work with a team of 5x Test analysts and 1x Test Lead to complete this project.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Test Analyst with strong skills in SQL, Power BI, and Cerner Millennium to join a dynamic team working on key healthcare technology programmes. This is a great opportunity to work at the intersection of data and clinical systems, helping ensure that vital digital solutions are accurate, effective, and robust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test strategies, plans, and cases aligned to clinical and reporting requirements

• Validate data extracts, transformations, and reports using complex SQL queries

• Verify Power BI dashboards and data models for accuracy, completeness, and visual consistency

• Test integrations and workflows within the Cerner Millennium environment

• Work closely with developers, analysts, and clinical stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality

• Log, manage, and retest defects, maintaining clear and thorough documentation

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Solid experience as a software or data tester within a clinical or healthcare setting

• Strong working knowledge of SQL – able to write complex queries for data validation

• Hands-on experience testing or validating reports/dashboards in Power BI

• Prior experience working with or testing in Cerner Millennium (e.g. PowerChart, CCL, Discern Explorer)

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Able to work independently and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Desirable:

• Familiarity with NHS standards, data sets, or interoperability frameworks

• Understanding of HL7, FHIR, or healthcare data formats

• ISTQB or equivalent certification
